Is the scope of your home design project beyond simply replacing countertops or flooring? It’s the responsibility of an Ibiza home architect to transform human needs and desires into visual concepts and habitable structures. When you hire an architectural designer, you are not only hiring someone for their architectural services, but also to manage and coordinate other parties involved in the project. As you search through Ibiza, Spain interior architects and designers, keep in mind the following tips to help you choose the perfect one.

Fusing tradition & modernity

Canadian born Rolph Blakstad studied Medieval and Renaissance art and architecture in Florence, he relocated permanently to Ibiza in 1956 where he founded Blakstad Design Consultants in 1967. Since then the company has grown to become one of the island’s most highly regarded and well-respected design brand. Blakstad Design Consultants are committed to understanding the ancient traditions in which Ibiza’s architecture is steeped, preserving all the charming but adapting it to modern functionality.

Functional & aesthetic

Crisp and modern lines, the enhancement of natural lighting and the harmonious balance with the surrounding environment are the key factors of the concept of this studio. The natural and minimalist look is achieved with 3 key materials, concrete, wood and steel. Big windows that open up and space and let the sunlight comes in but without forgetting the importance of functionality.

Innovative & visionary
